Overview

The Museum "Linos" is housed in the old Kakopetria, on the synonymous Street. It consists of three thematic circles or sections, the first one is dedicated to wine, the second one to bread and the last one to oil. The building that houses Lino was rented by Mr Stelios Alkiviadis in 2000. The latter even started the partial restoration of the building. A few years ago, the Pancyprian Architectural Heritage Organisation ( ΠΟΑΚ), with grants from European funds and in cooperation with the Urban Planning Department, proceeded with the restoration of the site.
